Today we go into the House of God and worship. Are we really ready to do so? So many of us do not prepare our hearts worship and therefore we go into the House of God very nonchalantly and say that we are ready to worship. God requires that we devote ourselves to worship and in doing so we put away the cares of this world completely.
I see so many people that are not prepared for worship. They stand there stiff with no trace of happiness. The heart of worship is not found by simply being there in the pew. It is found by reading God's Word and prayer for the filling of the Spirit. Once we have the filing of the Spirit; the Spirit works through us to accomplish Spirit-filled worship.
The goal is to be a part of true worship. True worship is defined in God's Word, and anything apart from that is not glorifying to God. Many times we just leave worship to a single day, the only day that many people darken the door of the church, Sunday. Let us make every day a time for true worship.
